And I thought it was a great theme for our show today, because today we're going to be talking about love and not just

any aspect of love but what I think is oftentimes the most challenging and anxiety provoking

part of the love experience which is connecting with someone new, the early stages of dating and

meeting people and trying to figure out new relationships.

And so I am so excited because today on the show, we have a couple of very special guests,

not the least of which is Dr. Helen Fisher, who is one of my

personal heroes. She's been on the show before and I'm so thrilled that she's coming back today.

If you are not familiar with Dr. Fisher's work, she is basically amazing. She has done so much research in the field of love and really groundbreaking stuff.

She has illuminated so much about the way people connect, the way we fall in love, the way our brains work when we are in love.

She's done research into compatibility, long-term relationships,

also breakups and breakup recovery. But she's also done an enormous amount of research around
