James is away this week and a well-deserved break is on assignment.

And so fin-shitting for James as I've done a couple times.

And I am really happy to be welcoming in Jeff Zimmerman, a name and face familiar to these airwaves.

Jeff has done some work for water wire in the past.

Been a frequent podcast and radio guests for us and has been busy doing some

other things this off season, which we'll talk about a bit. So first, we'll welcome Jeff,

say hi. How are things? Yeah. Well, thanks for having me. And it's really good. It was every year

until the book, our book gets published tanners and

minds for the the process that's usually i think everyone that puts out some kind of ball publication

everyone with the baseball HQ forecaster it's like once that's out it's like a whole different

time of the year and so it was just like once that's out,

it's just something that's just not nagging at you. Like I have to do this and that. It's kind of like,

all right, I can just focus on something else and it's just out the door. I know you're still

working on all your player previews. So you still got that probably still kind of nagging at you

for Masters Ball. But it's just one of those deals where it's

like finally done and just move on. No, for sure. And how, how, I mean, you actually, I don't know

that you've, you've done it for how many years now, the book? We've done it for about five.

We took off 2020. It was kind of a mess. What was going on then and we didn't know.

But yeah, it's just kind of been different each year. The first time was a lot of work. And then each year it's just kind of its own little adjustments afterwards.
