0:18.1

That is right, ladies and gentlemen, we are in the house tonight.

0:20.6

And in this episode, we are going to discuss the highly anticipated release of the all-new Rebel Ranger, a couple of sweet new bike builds, plus some excellent listener questions ranging from fueling during long rides to Downeyville tire combos and everything in between.

0:36.3

Exciting.

0:37.0

We just can't get away from tires. No. You really can't. And we don't even bring it up. No. I mean, sometimes we do. Well, Eric brought it up this time. That's true. Thanks, Eric. Yeah. We were looking for that. You know, we always need an excuse to start talking about tires. And we do not need an excuse for Zach's words of wisdom.

0:57.8

The people who get outside before or after work know the secret.

1:02.2

Exhaustion and peace can exist in the same body.

1:05.8

I like that.

1:06.4

What do you guys think about the people that get out before work versus after work?

1:10.7

You know, that is, that's a

1:13.2

good question because I personally, like, I love how I feel all day after riding in the morning.

1:18.3

I do, you know, get like a little, you know, mid-afternoon, like grog or whatever, but, but, and I

1:23.4

also just love, like, ending the day, riding a golden hour. That's like, peak existence. Yeah, I mean, I think all of us are pretty much morning riders. Yeah. Yeah. The people that get out and go training in the afternoon are savages. I don't know how you could do work a whole day and then be like, oh, I'm going to go work hard. Like, sunset cruise, one thing. Yeah. Going and smashing yourself at 6 p.m. And when we go to, we've been going to crib practice a few times and that's tough. Like, you feel sluggish. And then also, I just sleep like crap. Yeah. My heart rate's jacked all night. I mean, also we're doing a 40 minute special. 40 minute max effort., like, I'm peaking heart rate at 7 p.m. at the sprint, like, 190-plus beats per minute. Yeah. I did a couple training rides this winter that I was finishing at, like, 9 p.m., 9.30. And that was miserable. Yeah. From then on, it was was like morning, I'll wake up as early as I need.

2:19.0

I can always go to bed earlier, but going to bed later is just never going to be fun. No. I always feel like it's a domino effect. Like it throws off the sleep and then the next day you're tired. And it's just like, it's frustrating. And then the thing I realized, I was doing some back-to-back intervals and whatnot, and you realize that you're getting off the bike at 9 p.m.

2:35.4

And I'm on the bike at 6.37 in the next morning. You're like, hmm, that hasn't even been 12 hours. Did I ever actually? You're like worsening of nursing schedule or five-fire schedule or something, right? Right. Yep. Eight off, 16 on. could be worse.

2:51.2

Could be actually working, I guess.

2:53.3

What, you know what, that brings us perfectly eight off, 16 on. Could be worse.

2:52.5

Could be actually working, I guess.

2:55.7

What, you know what, that brings us perfectly to Daniel's fun fact. In a specialized hunting dive, a stoop, a paragrine falcon can reach speeds of over 240 miles per hour.

3:04.5

That is faster than the top speed of a Formula One car.
