We are near days away from the season beginning, and I am joined once again by my co-host, Dan Sainio.

It felt like the last one just started.

It'll be more here the next time we record, but it's going to get closer.

I know it's crazy that I know.

I mean, a year ago, we weren't sure that it was still going to happen at this point.

Now it's just full

gung-ho so i'm i'm i'm excited uh we've got all sorts of of news and notes to to run through but

it's it's time as football is officially almost officially here. We've got one more week.

Yes.

And I do want to mention one thing as we get started on the show.

This season is very weird.

I'm not sure if this is a long-term thing with the now three preseason games.

It's very weird that they have a buy week between the final week of the preseason and the last in the first week,

the regular season. And on top of that, usually final rosters are due the Monday before the season

starts in the NFL and most fantasy leagues. But this year, for some reason, final rosters are due

Wednesday, like basically a whole week before

the season even starts. Do you know if that's like a permanent thing or if that's or if that's

what's happening just because like they're adjusting to the new schedule? I think it's just temporary,
