I'm Greg Dalton. Record percentages of Americans are deeply concerned about global warming, according to a recent Gallup poll.

More than 60% say it is caused by humans and is happening now.

That concern was on display recently when tens of thousands of people marched on the National Mall calling for strong climate protection.

President Trump has called global warming a hoax and filled his cabinet with people who deny or doubt the overwhelming scientific consensus that burning fossil fuels is causing temperatures and seas to rise.
