Two proposals are in front of the Seattle City Council's Public Safety Committee this morning, the stay-out-of-area

prostitution zone, which we told you about, and the stay-out-of-drug area zone. Both proposals have

been highly contentious. The ACLU of Washington wrote in opposition of both proposals last week.

They say loitering laws result in discretionary and discriminatory

enforcement. The meeting will include a public comment period. We'll drop a link to the meeting
