Hey, good morning. It's Paige Browning. It's Tuesday. This is Seattle now. Warming waters are

hurting salmon in the Pacific Northwest, but another type of fish is flourishing.

Two proposals are in front of the Seattle City Council's Public Safety Committee this morning, the stay-out-of-area

prostitution zone, which we told you about, and the stay-out-of-drug area zone. Both proposals have

been highly contentious. The ACLU of Washington wrote in opposition of both proposals last week.

They say loitering laws result in discretionary and discriminatory

enforcement. The meeting will include a public comment period. We'll drop a link to the meeting

in the show notes. Children dressed in sea creature costumes will show up to the Port of Seattle

Commission's meeting this afternoon. They'll be there to advocate for Orcas and other sea life

and tell the port to reduce the amount of cruises

that come through Seattle.
