A few years ago, I made a statement that shocked my community.

Maybe it was the fact that I wrote these words on a prominent billboard in Dallas.

It was intended to promote an upcoming event at First Baptist Dallas, the church I pastor.

On the billboard I made this simple statement, America is a Christian nation.

Well, these five simple words triggered an uproar.

And why?

Well, it disrupts the agenda of those who are trying to rewrite American history.

And it runs contrary to the dramatic escalation of anti-Christian socialism.
