and how to get better at our most important job, being a parent. Sometimes in these episodes,

I talk to best-selling authors and elite performers and other guests, but lately I've also

been having conversations with my wife, Samantha, the co-parent of my two

boys. We do it over in the Daily Stoic studio here in Bastrop, Texas. She and I talk about things

that we're working on as parents, things that we're working on as people, and how we are supporting

each other, challenging each other, and like I said, trying to get better at what we do.

Well, tomorrow is the big day.

My kids' school starts, and we've been thinking about what they're going to wear.

One of the things we have in rotation this year is their new Vessi sneakers, fully waterproof,

but they look just like regular sneakers. They're just as comfortable and flexible, lightweight, waterproof, and ready for anything. Vessi is our

go-to-back-to-school shoot for our kids, also because they can come home and stomp around in our

ponds on the farm. They can get messy and dirty. Maybe we'll go down to the

river later. You don't have to worry about weather when they're wearing their vese shoes and

it can rain somewhat unpredictably here in Austin. The shoes are super durable. They can handle

everything your kids put them through. They're easy to clean. They slip on so you don't have to tie them either.

My kids love their vese shoes,

but they also make adult shoes with the same waterproof technology

and both my wife and I have a pair.
