| 0:00.0 | Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a special edition of the Money Mondays podcast where we cover three core topics, how to make money, how to invest money, how to give it away to charity. |
| 0:13.9 | But today, we're going to dive into the topics about your body, mind, and soul. |
| 0:18.5 | Why do you invest into yourself? This guest today, Steve Eckert, |
| 0:23.0 | has been with us here at Operation Blacksite for the last half a decade since we first started. |
| 0:27.7 | You can check it out at Operation Blacksite.com. Steve was there at day one. He's actually the only |
| 0:32.4 | instructor that's been at every single event, every single day from four, five in the morning, leading the optional workouts that he's going to explain what that means when I say optional to the very end of the night where we're here, you know, it's 10 o'clock at night after we just have gone through the first couple days of training and we're here. So he's been with us morning, noon, and night because he passionately believes in helping people change their minds, their bodies, and their actions. |
| 0:55.8 | By doing that, I believe in what's called the butterfly effect. |
| 0:58.8 | If we make better humans, we make them more skilled, more competent, more trained, |
| 1:03.4 | they will help their families, their communities, their staff, their family, their friends, etc. |
| 1:08.9 | And the more people that are trained, I believe, |
| 1:11.9 | that less crime will happen because people will hopefully be more scared to commit crimes, |
| 1:16.4 | as we've seen in certain countries where states where they know if they fuck around, |
| 1:22.6 | they're going to find out. And we've seen it in Dallas, Texas, where there's not that much crime |
| 1:26.5 | when people know there's open carry. And anyways, we're going to get into all these topics. So this podcast would be much different. I want to dive into this because I want to cover this topic so important. I'm actually doing this like a rush episode. This is coming out literally this Monday. We're filming this right now, you know, this weekend. And for me, I've just been obsessed with this |
| 1:45.0 | because I've been seeing so many situations happen across our society. |
| 1:48.0 | We've seen on the news, we see situations on subways, |
| 1:51.0 | we see tragic situations where people are getting hurt or worse or getting killed, |
| 1:55.0 | that could be prevented if people were competent |
| 1:57.0 | and not just pulling out their cell phones and recording |
| 1:59.0 | these terrible, terrible situations that are occurring in our society. And so without further do, Steve Eckert, if you can give us the quick two-minute bio, so we can get straight to the money. Well, I think this has to do, this is about money, about taking care of yourself. And that's really what I do is what I consider myself as just a husband and a father. If I do those things right, all the things fall into place. That's the ultimate currency right there. Taking care of myself, taking care of my family, that is wealth. I'm probably the least rich person that's been on this podcast, but I guarantee I'm the wealthiest that's ever been on this podcast for those reasons, because that's what I consider my profession is a husband and a father first. And I know if I do that, get my house in order, all the other pieces are going to fall into place in business, in money, in the community, in being a leader, in impacting the community to the better ways that you're saying so that things start shifting for the positive in the country. So your wife and kids and yourself have been working out how many days in a row? We've, we've, my son keeps track. |
| 2:50.9 | It's now over four or five years, like not a single day off. |
| 2:54.0 | Four or five years? |
