Hey, welcome. This is Behind the Billions. I'm Brian Copleman. And this is David Levine.

We are the showrunners and co-creators of Billions. And the first, Dave, man, off the dime,

huh? The first episode of season five just aired. Yeah, this is exciting. I mean,

it feels like a long time coming and we're so happy that the season's on the air now.

I'll tell you, man, you and I took that picture at the beginning, I think like the first day

of this season where we each held up five fingers. And I remember, are you looking at me and going,

are we jinksing something by putting up five fingers. And I remember, are you looking at me and going, are we jinksing

something by putting up five fingers each? Like, hey, we made it to season five. And I remember

thinking, well, what could we, what could possibly happen? We're going to shoot the season.

And I think, and you think we brought the pandemic on? I don't want to say that I think that,

but I do kind of think like it, like we never do things like that. Like, we, I don't want to say that I think that, but I do kind of think like it, like we never do

do things like that.

Like we, I'd say, even doing this seemed almost too much like a victory lap for us, like

even doing an after show, but it does seem like people are so involved.

And we care so much about the show that it seemed when when Bill Simmons asked us to do

this, for me, it seemed like too good an opportunity. You know, every, every Sunday night,

you and I are on Twitter during the season, answering people's questions and the way that the people

who love the show get into it. I guess I felt it was worth it for us to try to do a deep dive

each week on the stuff that maybe it's hard to answer really quickly on Twitter. And it's the

stuff that I'd want to know about if I was someone who was watching the show or watching it twice.

And so I feel like, uh,
