You know, it's so easy to sit here and say, well, if you want the red team to win, watching the

blue team consume itself and destroy itself must be a good thing.

But I think it's really important in this country to have two sane parties.

Obviously, I want the conservative party to be better and be more sane and to be to win, but I don't want an opposing party this insane.

Right. The problem, though, is that the allure of socialism is always going to exist as regrettably a frailty of the human mind, right?

Envy is one of the seven deadly sins.

And as you might imagine, socialists use our proclivity to be envious of others to say,

hey, it's not fair that someone else makes so much money than me.

Let me allow my empathetic overlords to come in and create

income equality across all of us, and then hopefully we can all live in the beautiful unicornia.

The problem with that, Charlie, is that it is inconsistent with human nature.

Humans are a

hierarchical species some of us are taller shorter harder working harder

working so to impose a you know an orgiastic form of egalitarianism on a species

that is hierarchical is always going to fail and that's exactly what's happened

every time that socialism has been

tried around the world. And of course, anyone who has spent 10 minutes studying our founding

knows, remembers that our founders spent all their time studying nothing other than human nature
