What is going on everybody? Welcome back to the mind of a Macros podcast. As always, I am

0:08.8

your host Mike Milner. I've got a very special announcement to make today, but first I got to tell a story before I get into the exciting news that I have to share with you guys.

0:20.0

I want to tell a story and give you a little background about myself, which you may have heard this before, but I feel like it's necessary to kind of paint some or color some context here.

So I've been a nutrition coach for a long time now going on a decade in the industry.

0:42.0

I shouldn't say I've been a nutrition coach for a decade. a And one of the things that I noticed early on in my career was I started in-person training and really

0:57.8

loved it, but I started to notice that my passion was more on the nutrition side of things just because that was more of my own

1:04.9

personal struggle. I've talked about that openly. You know, I've been the classic chronic dieter,

1:45.0

vibrantly and just overall more contentment and sense of well-being, all the

1:49.3

things that nutrition can do for us and should do for us but when we go down the path of chronic

1:56.2

restriction and dieting it has the opposite effect. You know I've talked about

2:00.2

the the lonely nights and telling friends that I couldn't hang out and you know not seeing family and just missing out on so many memories you know for the sake of quote on quote on quote on quote on quote on quote, staying on plan and just being home,

2:13.4

you know, nine o'clock at night

2:14.7

because all I wanted to do was eat my chicken and broccoli

2:18.2

and not go out with my friends

2:20.9

just so I could make more progress towards my weight loss goals and it was never good enough.

2:25.0

So it was my own personal struggle that led me down the path of really finding my passion for nutrition.
