Today, we have a big announcement. After 220 episodes, we are heading out on our own. We're going independent. We're really

excited to make this move, and I think it will help us expand creatively, and it'll influence the

kind of stories we tell, because now it's only us that we have to worry about. We wouldn't have

gotten this far without all the support from Mother Jones over the past five years. I especially

want to thank Jeremy Shulman, who is our longtime editor and Marianne, who's been editing our

articles more recently. Mitch Grumman, who helped us behind the scenes all those years. And Clara and

Monica, the brilliant minds behind Mother Jones that really brought us there five years ago.

Yeah, thank you for giving us a home, and we certainly couldn't have done any of this without you.

For our listeners, you might not notice that much is changing, at least not immediately.

We're still going to bring you the same weekly in-depth interviews with scientists.

We're going to be adding also a new science in the news
