This is Rumble Strip. It's almost the end of August and I keep seeing these pictures on social media of kids' first days back to school.

And also, now that I am the age that I am, I keep seeing pictures of kids in their dorm rooms being dropped off at college by their parents.

And in about a week and a half, I'm going to be one of those.

My son, Henry, was a camp counselor this summer, so I had a lot of practice to get ready for this.

And I remember the first day, really, the silence in the house was so loud in every room just like it had substance to it.

It was like something you could cut through.

Anyway, I'm modeling clearly.

And yesterday I went back and I listened to an old story I made called The Neighborhood

about the kids of Hospital Hill in Randolph.

And it made me feel better.

So before August is really good and over,

I wanted to play this for you.
