This is a really interesting interview because of us.

Well, actually, it's because of Sherry, but also it's because of Chris Williamson.

He's our guest.

He is the guy who started a church in the Nashville area.

It's called Strong Tower Bible Church. I really

didn't know anything about it. I just had heard it from a listener who said, you know, I've heard

Branty talking about unity and how this is not a side issue. And so I started going to this

multiracial church last week. And this is the church. And so I looked it up and thought, I just

want to talk to somebody about that. What's that like?

And very interesting, challenging to, if you're not somebody who ever wants to think outside the box or you're just like, well, this is what I've always known. I never want to think about anything

else. This is going to be difficult. But I think if you are open to thinking about stuff and pursuing the kingdom wherever you can

find it, I think you'll start to really be challenged in a good way. And Chris is great to talk to.

Again, this is our conversation with him. I'll pick it up sort of after we started just so we can

get into some of the meat of it.

But one of the things we talked about was how incumbent on us is to, is it to realize this is

really awkward to have all white and all black churches in areas where it's not all white or

not all black? That's got to at least be a problem for a church for whom our founder

wanted us to be unified? It's got to be a problem. If your church is situated in a diverse

community, then your church should reflect what that community looks like because we have a call

from the Lord to be witnesses in Jerusalem.
