0:27.4	It's March 21. Try so me 21 is what Down syndrome is. And of course I have a son who has Down syndrome my oldest and when I told him this he told me it is all day every day world Down syndrome day. Well it certainly is around here. You're supposed to show your support by wearing crazy socks or mismatched socks, whatever. He actually does always wear crazy and mismatched socks, and I'm not a big fan of that.
0:52.0	I wear mismatched socks all the time, personally. I'm not a big fan of that.

0:54.9	Oh my gosh, I don't like it.
0:56.3	I let him get away with it because it is a dance syndrome thing,
0:59.7	but it drives me crazy.
1:01.6	And, but I had a, somebody contacted me,
1:06.4	a tweet when lockdown started saying like he really just
1:12.0	was at the end of his rope and he just, he didn't know how much of this he could take.
1:15.0	And I've actually gotten back with him a few times.
1:18.6	And now I can't find his Twitter account.
1:21.1	I hope everything's okay with him. But what I had recommended to him and he said it was a fantastic idea was if you are feeling down it's a it is a proven fact that helping other people is lifts you up. And kids with Down
1:37.5	Syndrome, especially the ones who can communicate a little bit, are very uplifting.
1:42.0	It's ironic that it should be called Down syndrome. So I would
1:45.2	recommend that if you are feeling, you know, if you know someone who has a child with Down
1:50.4	Syndrome, what they really need is a couple of hours to themselves. So if you
1:55.6	babysat for somebody for just a couple of hours with real vigilance it would it
2:01.0	could really change like a whole person's whole week and it might be good for you too.
