All this week I've been at the Royal Astronomical Society's National Astronomy Meeting

held at Glasgow University and this show contains just a few of the highlights of the meeting.

To find out more about the Royal Astronomical Society, I spoke to their President, Professor

Andy Fabian.

It's a society of astronomers both professional and amateur based in the UK, but we do have an international following.

There's about 3,400 members so after the American Astronomical Society it's the

second largest in the world.
