Summary

To gain eternal life is to participate to the fullest degree possible in the very life of God. It is to walk the path of love, surrendering to grace and allowing this grace to flow through you to the wider world. Is this an easy task? No. The Gospel of Luke tells reminds us that the gate is narrow precisely because it is in the very shape of Jesus Himself, and entrance through the gate involves conformity to his state of being. The path of love is traveled by taking up one's cross every day.

sometime and you'll see how this question gets knocked around a lot and how

1:14.8

much anger it stirs up all around the place. Will everyone go to heaven? Will

1:22.7

me some go to heaven? Will most go perhaps after long stay in purgatory? Will

1:29.2

almost everyone go to hell? The bottom line, quite frankly, is nobody knows. But

man, our folks willing to share their perspectives on this with extraordinary

energy. And listen, every one of the positions I've just mentioned, trust me,

1:49.4

finds ardent defenders. And every one of them can quilt the scriptures and the

1:55.9

saints in support of the position. So again, go on the Internet space if you

if you doubt me and see the extraordinary energy and disagreement around this

issue of how many will be saved. Now to be fair, this question is indeed
