Welcome everybody to another edition of the narrative game, joining me as always, bringing

the narrative and his game, the man himself. I made how are you? Hey, hey Graham, I'm

doing super, doing super fantastic. Now, it is, um, I think what I would have to call

a new above a target rich environment for the narrative conscious among us.

And there's a bunch of stuff I want to talk to you about, but I'm going to say that

for a little bit later on because what I really want to start with is your latest project

news, which, um, you know, I go back to a dinner you and I had in San Antonio election night,

2016. Talk to me about what you and Rusty were doing. And it sounded equal parts, incredible,

and equal parts, sci-fi, and equal parts. How the hell is he going to pull this off?

Yes, exactly. But I know he will somehow. And here we are. So let's start with that. Let's talk

about what news is. It's Genesis and what your angel with it. Sure, sure. And point that was,

I keep coming back to that, that night, that was election night, 2016, right? When it all,

the things all changed, right? So news is an acronym and it stands for narrative early warning

system, narrative early warning system. And I got to take a grant. This goes back, gosh,

how old are we now? This is crazy. This goes back more than 30 years. Wow. This goes back to my

academic research. This goes back to my first real book. It's called Getting to War.

And it's the idea that you can use unstructured data. You can use the effort that journalist,
