Seven years ago, we began these daily broadcast.

You may not know this, but enjoying the journey actually started during the Christmas season.

We set aside a month of Christmas

studies to search the scriptures, to learn the beautiful joy of the coming of Christ and all that

was connected to it. And now, as we celebrate the end of our seventh year of broadcast, I'm so excited

to share these studies with you again. I want to encourage you to

get your Bible, get your family, sit down, and let's worship our great Christ together. At the

conclusion of today's study, Greg will come and tell you more about how you can obtain other resources

that will help you in your Bible study and family life,

and how you can pray with us and help us in the days ahead.

Someone has said that the most beautiful word in the English language is a person's own name. There's no doubt there's

something special about people knowing your name, remembering it and using it. As a matter of fact,

when people that you love or that love you say your name, it's a very special thing. No one can say my

name exactly like my wife does. It's precious to me. Well the truth of

matter is, although we all enjoy hearing our own names, there is one name on earth that exceeds

every other name. It excels every other name. It is the name of Jesus Christ. We're studying

that name right now. And we began our study in Matthew chapter 1,
