Hey all, it's Rima.

So this season we are exploring relationships of all kinds, romantic, platonic, familial,

and we're looking at how money and work can complicate them.

This week I am handing off the show to my colleague, Maryl Seguera, and what I really love about

the story she found is that so much of the tension, actually probably all of it, is

internal.

Usually you could say it's a story about the most important relationship in your life,

the one with yourself.

Here's Maryl.

When Chris is at work, he has to stand still for long periods of time, and his thoughts

go all over the place.

Sometimes he thinks about his ongoing Dungeons and Dragons game.

Sometimes he runs through his to-do list or tries to silently name every song he knows.

And sometimes...

I try to think about just how many people have actually seen me naked, and they know

it's a weird thought.

But if you average 15 people a session, 15 to 20, doing three times a week over 10 years,

I mean that's just a lot of people.

I stop them there and pull out my phone because I got to do the math.

15 times 3 times 52 weeks a year times 10 years.

So maybe 23,400 people.
