1:02.0	Kenneth Ring.
1:03.2	He was a professor at the University of Connecticut
1:06.1	and a big-time researcher into the world of near-death experiences.
1:10.5	One day he received a copy of Whitley Streepers book Communion, which recounts his UFO Abduction
1:16.0	experience.
1:17.0	Dr Ring was getting ready to toss it into the garbage because, well, you know, as a tenured
1:21.9	professor and a respected psychology researcher, he was not one to believe in little green men.
1:28.0	But then he noticed the note attached to the book.
1:31.0	It was written by his own editor who worked for the William Morrow agency. The note implored Dr. Ring to read the book stating that it was very relevant to his and devoured the book. It led him on a several years long research quest
1:55.0	where he started to make connections between not only the experiences of
2:00.0	UFOs and NDEs but also the resulting changes in their lives after the paranormal experience
