Mono Gonzalez here in studio with Gary Stearman and we have a great Christmas special program

for you and I hope that you join us and get your Bible out.

We're going to be looking at some passages as it relates to the Christmas story and it's

going to be a good time.

Right Gary?

Here we are.

Here we are and every Christmas we are absolutely assailed on every side by visual imagery.

We have the crash and we have the manger scene in people's front yards all over the United States.

We have men on camels. And we don't, sometimes we wonder, what are they doing

there, you know? And we have all the imagery that's taken from the Bible, but unfortunately,

a lot of the imagery is not well explained. Yeah. I think what we're going to do too is we're

not downers. We love the Lord's birth, but we also

recognize that traditions have crept up, crept in a variety of ways. And we want to kind of challenge

those traditions a little bit and as always to bring it back to the Scripture. Because I

think if we do, and one of the things we're going to see here in the story, the narrative,

is that when we bring it back to Scripture, there's these prophetic elements that come out that will encourage our faith.

And the idea of three kings, we three kings of Orient are, you know, and we have traversed afar, and we have come to see the Christ Child.

We three kings of Orient are, and there were more than three kings.

And in fact, they weren't really kings as we think of kings.

They were officialdom.

They, in fact, if anything, they were very powerful military and political figures from the East.
