Summary

A childhood encounter with a strange, human-like creature outside a hunting cabin set one woman on a lifelong path of fear and unanswered questions. Years later, her search for answers led to a trenchcoat-wearing classmate with ancient tomes, wild claims, and a name for the entity: Seán Ruadh. What followed was my own deep dive into folklore, dead ends, and hopes of figuring out a mystery that is still basically unsolved.

I'm your host, Jack Wagner.

This is a preview of a full bonus episode that's available right now at patreon.com slash otherworld.

0:19.6

The format of this episode is a bit different than the ones I've done before in many ways.

0:26.8

This episode is sort of unfinished.

0:30.3

I think it's as finished as it'll ever be.

0:33.3

You know, there's a chance it'll never be finished.

0:35.3

0:51.8

story without any sort of follow up whatsoever if I didn't tend to let

0:57.3

my curiosity get the best of me and complicate things. But, you know, making my own job difficult

1:04.4

is one of the things I'm best at. So here we are. So yeah, I've been holding onto to this one for a little too long. And I think the

1:12.8

best move is for me to just put this out and walk you through the process of everything so far.

1:20.2

Maybe one day I'll end up finding some answers and being able to finish it. Or maybe it will

1:25.6

exist on here as it is.

1:28.5

The story was actually brought to me by somebody named Paulina Creeke.

1:33.6

She is the host of a show called Caribbean Mystics, and funny enough,

1:37.4

she brought me this story saying that she had been working on it in the past,

1:41.5

but didn't get to do anything with it and thought that maybe

1:44.9

I would be able to figure it out. I thought so too, but you know, here I am. I do love this

1:51.8

episode. I love this story. I'm still kind of scratching my chin over it. And I think the person
