The requirement of a bishop and the requirement for a deacon has nothing to do with their ability.

It's something to do with their preaching voice.

Hallelujah.

Ooh, that's a bishop right there.

That's a bishop voice.

Has nothing to do with their administrative giftings.

It has nothing to do with any of that.

But he's saying that a bishop, a deacon has to be sober. That he has to be vigilant, that he has to rule his own house

well. It had nothing to do with his giftings,

but everything was predicated on godliness.

And that if a leader, a minister, doesn't have godliness,

then they don't have a ministry.

Ministry leadership means nothing without someone walking in godliness.

And so if you want to understand godliness, and the Greek word is Yusevius, which literally means something, an inner force that is shown, an inner force going upward to God, that is shown an inner force going upward to God that is shown by words and deeds.

That's what he's speaking of godliness.

That godliness doesn't start with the outside, but it starts with the inside.

And Jesus said this. He said, that out of the heart

precedes wickedness and precedes adulteries and precedes fornications and murders. He said,

out of the heart, he said, he said, the inside defiles a man.

And so godliness, this concept of godliness and this Greek word Yussevius,

it is talking about an inner force that is that manifests itself in words and deeds that what happens on the inside
