Hello and welcome to the show.

We are spending time with our families this holiday weekend and we thought that this weekend

when all of the normal rules of eating seem to be waived and you get to eat dessert for

breakfast is the perfect time to bring to you this our third music show.

Why? Well, at the end of all of our episodes we put a carefully chosen piece of music.

Often the lyrics match what happened in the show or our feelings about what we learned.

But sometimes you the listeners are just too full of information and you don't ever get

to the dessert part at the end.

So out of respect for the musicians and in the spirit of finally putting the dessert first,

we present some of our end songs from our episodes over the past few years.

Thanks to our licensing company I license for making these songs available to us and thanks

to you, our friends, for 11 years of listening and now without further ado on with the show.

We would like to start with a song that we played for two very different subjects, Fanny

former, the subject of our most recent episode, who overcame her disability and society's

perception of it and created a cookbook and cooking school empire and Annie London Dairy,

who took off around the world on a bicycle in an era when it would have been much more

proper for her to stay at home.
