That was the first time that I actually discovered the world of sound.

You know, before then it was just whatever instruments were available.

I never ever thought to really record just sound, just the world of sound.

I was just blown away by sound that I'd never really noticed, every sound of every day,

of every moment of every day. I just never listened to it.

You know what? I mean, it was there, but I just never really listened.

And it was a massive epiphany for me to the point where I couldn't unhaired things,

anything. And then everything became musical, every time I sound on the train,

every time everywhere I went, I could just hear music all the time.

It was really like a door. I'd just been massively flung open.

A conversation with singer-songwriter and composer Imogen Heap.

Earlier this year, I did an episode on her breakout Hit Song, Hide and Seek.

She heard that episode and enjoyed it, so I reached out and asked her
