The National Football League yesterday as the calendar turns to June, we expected some trades, including A.J. Brown.

That was the most expected trade for quite some time that the Eagles would deal him to New England.

But how about what the Rams and Browns pulled off yesterday?

Yeah, I was set for A.J. Brown trade news yesterday.

But before that trade came down, the Browns and Rams, a blockbuster deal, Miles Garrett,

is going from Cleveland to Los Angeles in exchange for Jared Verse and three draft picks.

And I couldn't believe it, but then I guess I could believe it.

The Rams over the past 10 years or so have been one of the most proactive

teams in the NFL. They see a window. They see a problem. They address it. And they were really

good with Jared Gough as their quarterback, but Sean McVeigh decided he can't get us all the way,

so let's go get

Matt Stafford and they built around Matt Stafford and they won a Super Bowl and then they

kind of tore it down and they built it back up again and they almost got there last year and

Stafford's coming back for another year and so so they look at things and think, all right,

we got another window here.
