And as we go to episode five, the shootout at Valley Ranch, and that talks about the shootout

between Jerry and Jimmy, chapter or episode four left off with the Cowboys winning back-to-back

Super Bowls.

And with the NFL owners meetings being a big sticking point between Jerry and Jimmy as Jerry came up to

have a toast with Jimmy and some of his current and former assistant coaches.

And Jimmy wanted nothing of it.

That ticked off Jerry.

He goes into the bar, talks to riders, and says a number of disparaging

things about Jimmy, including that 500 coaches could coach the Cowboys to a title. He was also

telling Edward and Rick Goslin of the morning news at the time that he was going to fire that

MF and Jimmy Johnson.

So now we get to that week at Valley Ranch.

This is March of 1994, and this was a long, long time ago.

But I remember it so well because it was such a crazy week.

Could Jimmy and Jerry patch these things up, these differences?

And by the way, they were vast.

Wasn't it interesting on episode five how they would sit down and have Jerry on camera

and he'd start to talk about Jimmy and he'd get so flustered

and let's take that again.

Yeah.

And Jimmy did the same thing when trying to come up with the right words about Jimmy.
