Last night, the American Airlines Center, the Mavericks lost again.

They're really shorthanded right now, and they gave it a good effort.

They led Milwaukee, and Milwaukee's a pretty good team. They led really short-handed right now, and they gave it a good effort. They led Milwaukee,

and Milwaukee's a pretty good team. They led them for most of the night, but they lose a heartbreaker

in the end, 116 to 114 to the bucks. And so Dallas is now 3 and 8. It was a good night for

Cooper Flag. He had a career high 26 points.

He had nine rebounds, four assists.

Boy, and from time to time, too, and I haven't watched every second of every game,

been watching more over the last week.

And last night, he had a couple of awesome moments, some spin dribbles getting to the hoop on a couple of transition buckets,

a follow off a mess. It looks like he's starting to get his footing. And playing him off

the ball is starting to bring out what we thought we would see. And just a reminder,

he's 18. 18 in doing some of the things that he's doing.

He is going to be fine.

He's going to be a really, really good player for a really long time.

But they're not very good right now.

They're three and eight.
