Over the weekend, the Cowboys got a deal done.

Yeah, they announced that they have extended Jake Ferguson the tight end.

He's signed a four-year contract extension worth $52 million, $30 million guaranteed.

So that's a $13 million average, and that puts him seventh among NFL tight-ins.

It's the richest contract ever signed by a Cowboys tied-in.

I think that's about right.

He should be slotted about seventh, I guess, in salary.

And it's a really good player, really important part of their passing game.

So they get that done, but they can't get Micah done.

It's really weird because, again, we all kind of know the numbers.

And the Cowboys over the weekend put the ball in Micah's court with Stephen very oddly saying,

in one of the most confusing Jones comments ever.

So Ferguson gets his deal, Micah is still waiting.

Does it mean that there's a lot of guaranteed money

just waiting for him and he's just pushing that off?

Like, is that another way of saying, we've given him a great deal,

including a lot of guaranteed money?

And if he wants to make it, it's right there for him.
