that hockey season is starting. It's upon us. The training camps are kicking off around the NHL.

The Dallas Stars will once again have all their games heard right here on the ticket.

And their first regular season game is Thursday, October 9th at Winnipeg.

And we are out at the Comerica Center this morning for the kickoff of Stars Training Camp and Media Day.

And joining us here, Rinkside, is the new head coach of the Dallas Stars, who's also the old head coach of the Dallas Stars.

How are you?

Yeah, good morning, guys.

Good to be back here for a second tour, I guess.

Yeah, so what does it feel like this time around taking over this team compared to 2011 when you took them over for the first time as head coach?

Yeah, I've noticed some, you know, obviously with the organization, some huge differences.

You know, I've been in the league now for 14 years and just coming back here, first

of all, watching these young prospect games, just how many people showed up here to the arena

to watch those games. I mean, that was probably our crowd back in 2011, right? And then, you know, just the sellouts, you know, I think it's 118 or 120, 119, somewhere in there,

just how popular of hockey's become down here, comparatively to when I was here.

So I just think it's an exciting time to be

here. The team's a great team. Uh, they've done a heck of a job here collecting, uh, you know,

top, top, end talent and, uh, it's so exciting for me to be back. Yeah, you've seen them up close.
