We start with the NFL, and it really does, especially after this weekend, kind of feel like a changing of the guard in the NFL this season,

when in the AFC you've got the Patriots and Broncos on top, and in the NFC, you've got the Rams and the Seahawks on top,

and you've got teams like Kansas City that may very well miss the playoffs.

The Chiefs lost again last night.

The Texans and that great defense shut down Patrick Mahomes at Arrowhead, 20 to 10.

Kansas City has now lost four of their last five, including that Thanksgiving Day loss to the Cowboys.

And Kansas City right now is very much on the outside looking in as they can't win the

division.

They're six and seven.

They'll need a miracle in the wildcard race.

Can you believe this team that has so dominated the NFL for years may miss the playoffs?

No, I can't believe it. I didn't think that would happen this year. By the way they're playing, they are just cooked. They are done for this year. I'm not ready to say their run is over. Maybe they can rebuild and

reset and come back next year and challenge and go to

another Super Bowl or two. As long as they have

number 15 back there, I think they're going to be contenders.
