There are items that can attract these unwelcome beings to the location.

The unwashed clothes of a scandalous woman.

Religious artefacts that have been stolen or obtained nefariously.

Blood spilled in anger and even mouldy food or dirty crockery.

The spilling of blood, however, is the most potently evil.

And Lep Castle Island has all of that in bucket loads.
