Hey guys and welcome to the Moms a Murder podcast, a true crime podcast featuring

0:28.5

myself Mandy and my dear friend Melissa. Hi, Melissa. Hi, Mandy. How are you? I'm doing great.

0:34.1

How are you? How was your Thanksgiving? Tell me everything. Well, okay,

0:39.1

Thanksgiving was great. I did make your little brie with cranberry fresh. Or would you call it

0:46.5

fresh? They weren't canned. I cooked them on a pan. Okay. But they came out of a bag. So even when

0:53.4

the guy, when I was at public, I said,

0:55.6

where do I find, you know, cranberries? And he showed them to me in a bag and I was like,

0:59.8

why did I think these were like Lucy Goosey just lying around that I would get? Like I clearly

1:03.8

have no concept of how it works. But on with Bree and on the little bread, the crustinis, as you say.

1:11.4

And they were so good.

1:13.7

They were really good.

1:15.3

Now, will I give up my canned cranberry sauce?

1:18.3

Absolutely not.

1:19.4

That is a staple and it deserves to be loved and respected on its own.

1:24.2

But as an appetizer, I think the fresh stuff makes more sense on your crustini,

1:31.8

because it's just more pompous, to be quite honest. It's a little more foofy. How was your Thanksgiving?

1:39.0

It was great. It was good. My family has been sick, so we had a very quiet Thanksgiving at home, and I cooked a lot of

1:46.9

food anyway, even though it was just us. And so that's been great because then I haven't had to cook again.

1:52.4

So we've all just been eating leftovers and just doing what you do after Thanksgiving. But yeah,

1:57.7

it's been great. And I mean, it was fine. I didn't mind it. We stayed home and

2:01.6

watched it TV all day and made yummy food. And that was that. So yeah, nothing really exciting happened. But we did it. We celebrated Thanksgiving. And we had turkey just like everybody else. So yeah. Yay. I know. I'm on my last day of turkey, but I saved cranberry sauce to like put it each time because it's great with cranberry sauce otherwise I don't want it.

2:20.0

So I just like, I've gotten down to my last little tiny bit of each of those, and that'll be my dinner tonight. And this is so many days of eating cranberry sauce and turkey. No wonder I only eat it once a year. So yeah, yeah, it was good. Yeah, yeah. I actually get really tired of the leftovers pretty quickly. So sometimes I'll eat Thanksgiving food, maybe one other time after the first time. And then I just use it as an excuse. I'm like, no, no, I'm going to save this for the kids. So they have something to eat. And even after like day three, they're like, we don't want to eat this stuff anymore. So yeah, so we've kind of reached that point. I think everything I have left in the refrigerator is probably just going to go straight in the trash can. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. All right. So we'll get right into the episode this week. Sometimes when we research these episodes, we have the opportunity to learn more about topics that
