Terri ‘Missy’ Bevers was a mother to three daughters and she had been working on getting herself in the best shape of her life in 2016. She had started facilitating fitness bootcamp classes, run out of a local church in Midlothian, Texas.

Missy had a class scheduled for 5am on Monday, April 18, 2016. The weather was predicted to be stormy, so she made a social media post advising the attendees that the class would be held indoors.

Missy arrived to the church early to set up, and waiting for her was a person dressed in police riot gear. This person had entered the building around 30 minutes before Missy arrived and was seen on CCTV walking from room to room, causing damage to the property.

When Missy’s class attendees arrived, they found a bloodied scene. Missy had been attacked and murdered by the person in the police gear.

7 years later, Missy’s murder is still unsolved. Did she disturb a robbery or was this a targeted murder?

In this episode of the True Crime Society Podcast, we discuss the unsolved murder of Missy Bevers.
