In 1991, Richard Illes met Miriam Zambie while working as a resident at St. Louis Medical Center where Miriam worked as a perfusionist. The couple got married in 1991 & within a few years, they welcomed their son, Richie, into the family. This was when they relocated to Williamsport where the couple worked side by side.
