Hey guys, and welcome to the Moms and Mysteries podcast, a true crime podcast featuring

myself, Mandy, and my dear friend Melissa. Hi, Melissa. Hi, Mandy. How are you? I'm doing all right.

Not the best, not the worst. Remember last week when you said,

I'm in that weird in between time where I don't know if I'm getting sick or fill in the blank there.

What happened there? I was getting sick, in fact. You were getting sick. Poor thing. I'm sorry.

It's stinks. It's really going around. Yeah, it really is going around. I was telling

another friend about, we were talking about all the illnesses and stuff going around, but it does

seem like right after Thanksgiving, after everyone kind of gets together with their families and people

have been traveling, it seems like that like week or two after that. It's just there's everything going around.

So yeah.

Thankfully, I actually am very thankful that I am a pretty healthy person and I'm not

feeling like super terrible.

But it's just, ugh, it's just one of those things.

Nobody likes to be sick.

Yeah.

I haven't been sick since May when I got like hospital sick. And so I'm terrified of getting

sick. Like anytime my throat kind of tickles, I'm like, is this it? Is this it? Yeah, I know. I want to

put you in a bubble like all winter. But I'm doing quite well. I mean, it's been seven months. Knock on

everything. Knock on everything. Everything. Yes. Okay. Definitely knock on my own head. But Mandy, when I read this story and I've heard about it in the news, my brain almost broke. And I'm so, I just cannot wait to get into the story.

You've heard of this one already? Yeah, I've seen her face.

Well, okay, I should say that I've seen her face, so I've seen little blips, but I had no idea the scale of this or a lot of it. Yeah, okay, cool. Yeah, I have actually or had never heard of this story. It is a pretty recent one. But also I'm not somebody who really follows like current news stories, which maybe is a little odd.
