Hi and welcome to our first ever Nighty Night, the story behind the story. Episode

this is your host, Robbie a Chaudhary, and today I am joined by my first ever guest,

Rebecca LaVoy. Hi, Rebecca, welcome. Thank you so much, Robbie. Thank you for having me on your

first ever episode. This is very exciting. Well, true crime fans don't need any introduction

to Rebecca because she is the producer and host of the very first ever true crime review show.

I'm right about that, right, Rebecca? Like, ever. I like to think that it's true, so let's just go ahead.

Okay, we'll go with it. Crime Riders on, which I'm a big fan of. I've been a listener for seven

years, as well as being the director of On Demand Audio at NHPR, where she oversees the production

of all of their podcasts, including Outside In, Civics 101, and now Bearbrook season two,

big, big podcast. Rebecca is also the co-writer of five true crime books and the host of the Netflix

podcast. You can't make this up, but most importantly, Rebecca is my dear friend and has been the

audio producer of my own criminal justice podcast undisclosed for seven years. Thank you so much,

Rebecca, for coming on. You know, it's really interesting to be on this podcast with you, Robbie,

because this is a very different context that I'm used to talking to you, and I've been listening

to this show, and it is so creepy, and you are so wonderful at it. And I don't know, it's
