And I have with us today, Mr. Mike Gatto.

He is a, as he describes it, a political fixer and a lawyer.

And he's here to tell the story of his father.

It's a tragic story. His father, Joseph Gatto, was murdered, unfortunately.

And Mike is going to tell the story because he's got the details. So take it away, Mike.

Thank you so much for having me. And thank you to the audience for listening to my father's

story. So my father was murdered in his house on 11, 12, 13. So on November 12, 2013, my father

was murdered in his bedroom in the childhood house that I grew up in. And, you know, the first thing you typically ask when someone is killed is, did they have any

enemies?

What makes my father's killing so sad and so difficult to explain is that my dad didn't have any

enemies.

My dad was a beloved member of his community.

He was an army veteran.

He was a teacher, a school teacher for 47

years. He was not wealthy by conventional estimations. And he wasn't the type of person who had

a whole bunch of people out there who wanted ill on him,

just the opposite. When we had his funeral, you know, in a church that was maybe built to hold

300 people, we had 1,200 people. And that should give everybody a sense of who he was and what he was

all about. When he was killed, it was the only killing in his neighborhood that year.

So it stuck out very much.
