Anyway, I sat down with Jesse Brown in Canada lands Toronto studio to talk about true crime

podcasting in Canada, ethics in the genre, plus a couple of

Before I start the story, I wanted to update you on Paul Bernardo's parole hearing

that happened in October in Bath, Ontario.

If you're not Canadian, hopefully you'll remember Paul Bonado and Carla Hamulca from the first

two episodes of this podcast, the so-called Ken and Barbie

killers.

Carla served a reduced prison sentence under what was called the deal with the devil and was

released years ago.

But Paul is still there, a designated dangerous offender convicted of two counts each of first

degree murder, kidnapping, forcible

confinement, aggravated sexual assault, and one count of committing an indignity to a human body.
