Captain Frank “Marty” Theer and his wife, Michelle, seemed to have the perfect love story—high school sweethearts who married after Marty’s graduation from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1991. But behind closed doors, their marriage wasn’t as picture-perfect as it appeared.
On December 17, 2000, Marty was gunned down in an office parking lot in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He had been lured there by Michelle under the pretense of meeting her at work. What seemed like a tragic random act of violence soon unraveled into a sinister plot—one involving betrayal, infidelity, and a deadly love triangle.
As investigators dug deeper, they discovered Michelle had been living a double life. She had been having an affair with John Diamond, an Army Ranger and paratrooper at Fort Bragg. And soon, all signs pointed to a deadly conspiracy between the two lovers.
Join us as we break down this shocking case of deception and murder, where love turned into a battlefield in the most tragic way.
