On May 10th, 2012, April Kaufman was found dead in her bedroom with no signs of struggle.

Her husband, Dr. James Kaufman, immediately became a prime suspect, but his airtight alibi

I know I've returned.

It's hard to come back from a week-long vacation to a week of work. It's not, I don't recommend it to anybody. The vacation, yeah, but the reality crushing back in, it's a, it's a struggle. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's got to be the worst. That's why I don't take vacations, you know. that's it. I just can't adjust back. That's why I just don't have joy. It would be so much easier. And I do want to shout out, well, I'm not going to say their name because I didn't ask for permission to, but I ran into a listener at Trivia on Tuesday. And she was talking about, I know so cool. And the coolest thing. She was talking about, well, not the coolest, kind of just related to the podcast, because it was right after the Son of Sam episode. And her mom was in like Queens during that time and Mora Wick. Whoa. That's just so insane. Yeah, I have to ask my parents about that. You do. Because my mom grew up, I mean, like semi in the area, like close by. That's crazy. And then I realized too, it's so like the energy of talking true crime.

Then it was like us shouting about son of Sam at like a bar and just like all the details.

And just people looking over and I was like,

what the fuck are you?

Like I'm on the murder.
