Greetings, Halloweenes, and welcome back to another episode of, you guessed it, Halloween's.

This is your host, Michael Mummy Rothman, and you're probably wondering, wait a second,

the mummy, why are you covering the mummy?

I thought you guys covered Universal Monsters last year.

Well, we did, we did a full year of the Universal Monsters. And in that year, if you recall, over on our Patreon, patreon.com slash Halloween's pod. We covered 1999's The Mummy. We thought it was really cool to do it. It was in vogue because it's all back. It's back in the spotlight. We're going to get Mummy 4, which I don't think we knew at the time. Maybe we did. I don't remember. But we do know now, and it's happening. It's going to be filming soon from Radio Silence, a familiar face. Faces in the Halloween's lore. So expect us to cover Mummy 4 down the road, maybe.

I don't know, but we did cover Mummy one, and we're unlocking it because now this is

where it gets confusing.

Lee Cronin's The Mummy is coming out in theaters this weekend.

Now, Lee Cronin, if you recall, is also Halloween's Lord because he was part of Evil Dead,

the Evil Dead Rise that came out in

2023, in which we covered. So there's Lee Cronin's The Mummy, then there's Radio Silence as the

mummy four. That's going to be happening maybe next year or the year afterwards. I don't know.

But either way, in light of Lee Cronin's mummy, we decided to unlock The Mummy from 1999,

which in that case isn't actually Radio Silence's Mummy for,

but it's going to be in the same franchise as 1999's The Mummy,

which I believe was directed by Stephen Somers.

I believe because it's been a little bit close to a year since we did this episode. But I remember it being a good one. And I know this is a favorite of Rachel Reeves. I was going to say Rachel Weiss reads. Oh, that could work. But maybe that's what she does in this episode. I can't remember. I was on this episode. So you'd think I'd remember, but I don't.
