Hey, everybody. It's Nick Houselman here, co-host of the Muckrake podcast. Unfortunately, the first

0:05.9

couple of minutes of our live show didn't get recorded, so that's why it starts a little bit

0:10.5

abruptly. But the rest of the show went great, so enjoy. Some attacks on journalists and

0:19.7

analysts and so-called leftist and communist and socialist.

0:24.7

I will say, one, history shows us that this is what happens, that authoritarian, they gain power,

0:32.4

and what happens is that they start to use the legal system as one of their main ways to go after

0:39.7

people. So it wouldn't necessarily be attacking quote unquote propagandists, right? It would start

0:44.9

out by probably with immigrants because they're always the people who are like, you know,

0:50.8

at the forefront of this stuff who are always being attacked. And I could see the first

0:54.7

1:12.2

policies. We've already seen that the state is starting to leverage its power towards protesters,

1:17.9

not just recently with the campus protesters, but also what we've seen in red states creating

1:23.6

situations where people can run them over with their cars. Kyle Rittenhouse murdered a couple of people and got away with it.

1:30.5

So you start to see that sort of stuff start to take off.

1:33.8

The other question here, Nick, is how can you start sort of leveraging the judicial system

1:40.8

and law enforcement against people?

1:42.9

Well, there have to be, quote, unquote, crimes, right?

1:46.1

So what we could talk about are pandemic crimes. I'm sure Anthony Fauci and people like him and

1:52.1

doctors, right, would definitely get in the crosshairs, particularly if Republicans take control of Congress.

1:57.3

There would be no end to the hearings and possible prosecutions. Then all of a sudden,
