First, I've been writing Christmas cards to friends all over the world.

snowy Finland, which is a country in northern Europe. It's so far north that the winters are

very long and very dark. Some days in winter, it hardly gets light at all.

On the plus side, green flashes of light which dance all over the night sky known as the Northern Lights

can regularly be seen in Lapland which is part of Finland.
