0:45.6	Guys, when we look back on 2025, we're getting ready for this show.
0:49.3	I almost forgot how much tariffs were a topic just a few months ago. This happened in April. There
0:56.3	were sweeping tariffs put on all kinds of imports coming into the U.S. So we have to start
1:00.9	there when we were looking back on 2025 because that was thought to be a devastating hit to
1:07.6	the U.S. economy. And yet, the S&P 500 is up about 40% since then, Lou, what did we learn
1:14.1	about tariffs, or are we still in sort of this unknown territory?
1:18.8	Okay, so full disclosure, I was one of the people saying the sky is falling, so I'm
1:22.8	going to be very defensive in my answer here, okay? I'm likely biased. That said, a couple of things I want to point out.
1:29.1	First of all, we live in a world where we're used to hot takes, instant reactions and stuff.
1:34.3	Tariffs, like Fed moves and so many other things in the economy, they take time to work through
1:39.5	the system. I think if you looked at since April, no, there wasn't that like instant. The world is terrible now.
1:46.1	But we've talked about it on here, Travis, the boiling frog economy.
1:49.5	And it's just sort of it's slowly, slowly getting worse.
1:52.8	I'm sticking with that.
1:53.9	Under the surface, there's signs of distress, even if, you know, the stock market's up.
