0:26.9	We'll kick off today with a case of the murdered Detroit doctor who was found in his attic.
0:32.2	Case 6, Devon Hoover.
0:34.4	Dr. Devon Hoover was a successful neurosurgeon and beloved member of the Detroit community.
0:39.8	He had a beautifully maintained historic home where he hosted parties, charity fundraisers

0:46.5	He was friendly with the neighbors and gracious with his parents, and that's why it was
0:50.0	a complete shock when he was found murdered in April.
0:53.8	On April 23rd, police were called to investigate Hoover's home after he didn't come to a family
0:58.7	event he was supposed to attend.
1:00.6	Immediately, they knew something was wrong.
1:02.8	Sure enough, Hoover was found face down in his attic, having been shot in the head, wrapped
1:07.7	in a sheet and dragged into the crawl space.
1:10.7	Initially, police made it seem like there were promising leads.
1:14.6	They assured the public that it appeared not to have been a random killing, and that
1:18.9	it seemed likely that Devon likely knew his assailant.
1:23.0	In five days after discovering the body, the police arrested a person of interest.
1:28.4	Since then, however, the case has gone cold.
