I was told last week by a friend and a listener

that when I started the episode saying we had lost Mike Hogan that it caused

unnecessary panic on the part of the listeners so we're all here in one place Mike is fine and in good

health just couldn't make it last week. Sorry about that, everyone.

Oh gosh. So we have a lot of things to talk about this week. Our Little Gold Men Essentials rewatch series continues with Network,

which I think might be both the most cynical

and the most timely movie we discussed in this ongoing series.

We also have Richard interviewing Hong Chow, the actor who you might remember from

downsizing or from Watchman who is talking about her new film driveways. And we're going to check in

with Anthony Bresenne Can and Joanna, our resident Star Wars experts, who are marking

May the 4th, which is of course Star Wars Day with a look back at the rise of Skywalker.

But first, I wanted to talk to each other just a little bit about our quarantine viewing which I think we've made a semi-regular tradition.

I haven't been watching much by way of like new movies or TV shows but I did watch the Stephen Sonheim tribute

which I think might be the best television event I've seen all here.
