But what society understands tolerance to be, and what true tolerance is, are vastly different things.

You can only truly be tolerant of something you either dislike or disagree with.

Tolerance seems to have become America's new favorite buzzword.

Some would even argue that it's our culture's greatest virtue.

But today's definition of tolerance has taken on a whole new meaning.

Today on Pathway to Victory, I'm going to identify what I believe is the most misunderstood word in America today.

Can you guess which word I'm referring to?

It's a relevant topic because Christians have been stereotyped as narrow, shallow-minded people

who are unwilling to entertain other points of view.

If you listen long enough to secular organizations like the Freedom from Religion Foundation or the American Civil Liberties Union,

you will come to believe that America was founded by men with a wide diversity of religious beliefs, who were united by one dream.

A secular nation void of any religious, especially Christian influence.

But that's revisionist history.
